What a blast! It was way more fun to host a table (or “to table” as I learned from the veterans) at a convention than I ever imagined. We met a ton of wonderful people, chatted with industry pros all weekend (all of whom are the nicest people), and we totally SOLD OUT the first print run of Midnight’s Masque! It was lots of work to prep for, but I’ve caught the bug now, and would love to do another one. Thanks to everyone and anyone involved, and to all the fans (old and new) who stopped by our table.
I tried to grab a photo of every cool costume I saw, but it was an overwhelming task. There were just so many! I got a bunch, but if you don’t see yours, rest assured it was only because I couldn’t break away from my table in time. (looking at you, Labyrinth and Dark Crystal peeps, to name a few).
I’m going to post all the Day 1 pics here, then post Day 2 tomorrow. I’ll also tweet all these out. I tried doing that during the event but AT&T *blocked* my data connection after the first 15 or so. That suuuuucked!
Here we go:
(and here’s Day 2)
Special shoutout to my table-neighbor – a 10-year old with her own table filled with her art. Really inspiring to see her enthusiasm (and her tireless mom who helped all weekend).
And now the gallery of rogues…
Lots more pics from Day 2.
